At Tales on Moon Lane we believe that author visits are a great way to get students excited about reading. We are delighted to work with much loved authors as well as bring new books and authors to schools. We are experienced in organising bespoke book weeks, from pop-up bookshops to themed book fairs that entertain all age groups. We work with a wide range of authors and aim to find each individual school an author that best fits their students' interests. Whether it is for lively whole-school assemblies, writing workshops for smaller groups, more serious literary events or topic-based events for different key stages. We endeavour to have seen the events of every author that we recommend so that we can match the author specifically to your needs.

World Book Day 2018
Due to popular demand we have expanded our WORLD BOOK DAY SPECTACULAR events packages.
If you are interested in organizing an event at your school please call 02072745759 and ask for Tereze or Kath or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to high demand for our WBD spectacular packages during February and March each year, these packages form our author event offer during February and March. Inclusive school book fairs are available as normal throughout the year.
If you are interested in author events outside of this period, do let us know and we will put you in touch with our school author events co-ordinator Corinne for other author event offers.
Promotional Events and Author Tours
These events are offered to us from the publisher when an author is going out on tour to promote a new book. The event is free for the school on the understanding that the books are on sale following the event and promoted within the school in the run up to the event.
